It would seem more and more people are now starting to understand the changes that Facebook have made (here is a small example diagram). A campaign has been launched called QuitFacebookDay, that is encouraging people who hold an account on the social networking site Facebook to ‘Quit’. The campaign site admits that “Quitting something like Facebook is like quitting smoking” and they are not that far off. The website holds a sturdy case against owning a Facebook account. Although you can change options and you have a choice in some of your privacy, these choices are not ‘Fair Choices’ and you being able to manage these choices is ‘damn difficult’ for (the average user) to understand and change.
