Bundle Software With Ninite

Ninite Logo

Ever had a friend, family member or just yourself who has just purchased a new computer and wants to know what software to get? There is a lot of quality free software you could recommend and it can become stressful to point them towards each one and guide them through the installation. A website called Ninite can solve your recommendation headache by simply bundling all the best software into a easy one-install file. It’s fully customizable, you choose what software is added and then you can send people to the link which will download the custom installer with all the software you selected. It’s a great service and worth bookmarking for future reference.

Wunderlist for Desktop and Mobile

Wunderlist for Desktop and iOS.
If you have been looking for nicely designed productivity application for your desktop and with the ability to sync to a mobile device then can I please point you in the direction of Wunderlist. Upon first glance a the website, you immediately expect this to cost you something but the massive ‘Free’ label on the screenshots is a massive surprise and delight.
The software is both for PC and Mac with a free app for iPhone. What you can do with this wunderful (excuse the pun) tool is not unusual but just done in a unique and compelling way. The feature list reads of as so, the ability to share a list via email or CloudApp, add notes to each task, use keyboard shortcuts, organise tasks into lists, print your lists and drag and drop.
The interface of Wunderlist is well thought through and has some great background images included. With filters you can view your tasks by due date, priority and list. When a task is overdue a notification within the program will display. With all this free goodness in something so well thought through it would be a great shame if you didn’t download Wunderlist and give it a go at improving the way you work.
