Imgur is an image hosting site like TwitPic and TweetPhoto. It is simple and has many ways to share the image whilst also giving you a short URL to view your image. Once you have uploaded your image(s) via the browser or a URL, there is a social-rich page, that allows you to share the link, embed the image in websites, blogs or forums, or even take people to that page so they can share it to.
